| RIGHTS AND SELF-ADVOCACY Under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, all persons have the same rights and responsibilities. These include:- The right to choose where you live
- To run my house my way
- To have my own space
- To own a pet
- To own plants
With those rights come certain responsibilities. For instance, the place you live must be safe for you and your friends. It must be affordable. You must keep your home clean. If you have a pet, you must keep it fed and watered. Plants also must be cared for.Other rights include those that revolve around your relationships, recreation and leisure, education, health and wellness, self-awareness, political, transportation, legal, employment, volunteerism, financial, community, and culture.
